Together, we’ll gently move through opening yoga poses designed to awaken the body. Join us on Saturday, July 18th from 9:00–11:00am as we plant a Monarch Butterfly & Pollinator Garden at the Port Jefferson Chamber of Commerce! No gardening experience is necessary—just bring your enthusiasm and help us create a beautiful habitat for monarch butterflies, bees, and other important pollinators. You'll also learn simple ways you can support monarchs and pollinators in your own yard and community.
This garden is part of The Monarch Promise, an initiative started by Monarch Nature in 2025 to help restore habitats and support the monarch butterfly population. Thanks to generous grant funding from PSEG, the Port Jefferson garden will become our second Monarch Promise garden. Our first garden in Babylon Village helped us raise and release 67 monarch butterflies last summer, and we're excited to bring this mission to even more communities, with Miller Place coming next.
